Who we are
Pinoy Stories Abroad Events Incorporated runs Pinoy WACA Splash Fest and the Pinoy WACA Talent Quest. This notice explains what personal information we collect through this website and our forms, why we collect it and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Talent Quest entries: your name, contact details, suburb, details of your act and a link to your audition video. For performers under 18, we also collect a parent or guardian's name and contact details.
- Ticket alerts, updates, vendor, sponsor and volunteer enquiries: your name, email, phone number if you give it, business name if relevant, and your message.
- Emails you send us: your email address and what you write.
Why we collect it
To run the Talent Quest and the event, assess entries, contact you about your entry or enquiry, send the updates you asked for, and plan the event safely.
Updates by email
If you sign up for updates, we'll email you about Pinoy WACA Splash Fest and the Pinoy WACA Talent Quest only. Every email will say who it is from and include a way to unsubscribe, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Who sees it
Members of the organising committee, and for Talent Quest entries, the judges and production team who need it. We don't sell your information.
Online tools we use
We use online services to host this website, collect form entries and store files. These providers handle information on our behalf and may store it outside Australia.
Photos and video
Auditions and the event may be photographed and filmed for event coverage and promotion. Performers sign a media release before taking part.
Children
We ask for a parent or guardian's consent before a performer under 18 takes part, and we collect only the details we need.
How long we keep it
We keep entries and enquiries only as long as we need them to run the Talent Quest and the 2027 event and to meet any legal obligations. After that we delete them.
Cookies and links
This website doesn't add advertising or tracking cookies of its own. If you follow a link to Facebook, Instagram or a form provider, that site's own privacy policy applies.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we'll respond as soon as we can. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, tell us and we'll look into it.
